Sprouted Moong Bean Bowl (Vegan, GF, Ayurvedic) For Dinner!


Had an Ayurveda-inspired dinner last night! To learn more about the cultural and historical context around Ayurveda, click here.

We combined a few things.

  1. This Sprouted Moong Bean Recipe (The Ayurveda part) from One Green Planet
  2. Himalayan Red Rice
  3. A delicious Kache Kele ke Kebab aka kebabs made from raw (kache) bananas (kele)*
  4. Raw Spinach
  5. Sunflower Seeds
  6. Pumpkin Seeds

So good. I love fats, proteins, raw ingredients, and sprouted beans.

*tip: for this recipe replace ghee with vegan butter or oil
